Two Year Old Class

The two year program has a maximum of ten students in the class. There is a state certified teacher and one assistant. Your child's first school experience will be a warm and nurturing one. Socialization is stressed in the classroom. The children learn, through play, how to share and cooperate with others. They are introduced to colors, shapes and numbers. Fine motor skills are strengthened by the use of crayons, paints, markers and other art materials. Large motor skills are improved when the children ride bikes and use the climbing equipment daily. The teacher will help to reinforce self-help skills such as drinking from cups and toileting. The students in this program do not have to be toilet trained.
